Junior Tour of Northern California Crowns Winners During Fall Series IX Championship at Bayonet & Blackhorse Golf Course
PEBBLE BEACH, Calif. (October 21st, 2025) – The 2025-2026 Junior Tour of Northern California (JTNC) hosted its ninth event of the season and crowned champions during the Fall Series IX Championship at Bayonet and Blackhorse Golf Course on the Monterey Peninsula.
Liam Eyer and Lucinda Wu Lee both win their respective flights, with the course playing to a par-72 at both Bayonet and Blackhorse. The Boys division played to 6,594 yards (Bayonet) and 6,643 yards (Blackhorse), while the Girls played to 6,045 yards (Bayonet) and 6,079 yards (Blackhorse).

In the Boy’s Championship flight, Liam Eyer wins his first tournament of the 2025-2026 JTNC season with rounds of 70-72 finishing at 2-under par 142. Liam carded a total of eight birdies over the 36-hole event, including an eagle during play of the par-5 10th hole at Bayonet. The most crucial birdie carded during Liam's victory was at Blackhorse on the par-4 16th hole, birdie here was enough to see out runner-up Jacob Watney who was making a second round comeback. Liam currently ranks T10 on the JTNC Boys Player of the Year standings, 100 points outside of the top five ranked juniors.
Runner-up was awarded to Jacob Watney of Clovis, the 2027 talent had rounds of 72-71 finishing at 1-under par 143 with a total of eight birdies. Jacob adds to his already impressive lead at the top of the JTNC Boys Player of the Year standings as this is his fifth top-three finish of the season! Third place went to a local junior out of Pebble Beach in Zachary Hawkins, Zachary carded rounds of 75-69 with a total score of even par 144. Zachary fired off seven birdies over the 36-hole event, with an impressive stretch where he carded four in a row during round two at Blackhorse. Fourth place went to Calvin Etcheverry of Saratoga at 2-over par 146, Calvin had rounds of 72-74.

In the Girls’ Championship flight, Lucinda Wu wins her first JTNC tournament of the 2025-2026 season over a strong Junior Tour Girls field. Lucinda played stellar golf throughout the championship weekend with rounds of 73-71 and tallied up six birdies, evenly split at Bayonet and Blackhorse courses. Lucinda went up against some of the best Junior Tour Girls in Cathy Zhang and Emma Wang as she topped the Fall Series IX leaderboard by four shots! Lucinda now moves up to 7th on the JTNC Girls Player of the Year standings with 102 points separating her and the top-five ranked Girls.
Runner-up needed a card-off between Cathy Zhang and Emma Wang, eventually a silver medal was awarded to the current 3rd place ranked JTNC Girl, Emma Wang of Palo Alto after rounds of 74-74 for a total of 4-over 148. Emma's performance at Fall Series IX makes it her fourth top-five finish of the 2025-2026 JTNC season. Third place subsequently went to Cathy Zhang of San Ramon who carded rounds of 70-78 with a total of seven bridies. Jayleen Sito took fourth place at 6-over par 150 where she turned in scores of 74-76, this marks Jayleen's fifth time placing in the top five of a Junior Tour tournament event this season.
