Junior Tour of Northern California Crowns Winners During Fall Series V Championship at Wildhorse Golf Club
PEBBLE BEACH, Calif. (September 15th, 2026) – The 2026-2027 Junior Tour of Northern California (JTNC) hosted its fifth tournament of the season, crowning champions during the Fall Series V Championship at Wildhorse Golf Club in Davis.
Braymon Franko and Olivia Lee win their respective divisions, with Franko finishing at even par 144 while Lee secured her champions medal at 3-under par 141.
In the Boy's division, Braymon Franko wins his first tournament on the Junior Tour this season after a three shot victory over Brian Stamps. Franko was off to a quick start during round one where he carded three birdies on his opening seven holes, eventually ending the day as the clubhouse leader after 18-holes with a total score of 1-under 71. Round two slowed down slightly for Franko as he carded a 1-over 73 with a total of three birdies on the scorecard, although his consistency was enough to see out the Boys field earning him a winners medal. In total, Franko carded eight birdies over 36-holes and finished with rounds of 71-73. Victory here at Fall Series V takes Franko up to 5th on the Boys JTNC Player of the Year standings with 300 points to his name!
Runner-up went to Brian Stamps, a class of 2028 talent from Galt, who turned in rounds of 76-71 earning himself his fist medal of the season after a spectacular second round comeback. Third place ended tie between Armaan Khan and Christopher Bordonaro at 4-over par 148, resulting in a card-off to determine our final medal spot for the event. Ultimately, it was Bordonaro who took home the bronze medal after his final nine-holes were one shot better than Khan's. Bordonaro had repeat rounds of 74-74 with a total of six birdies and a hole-in-one on the 6th hole during round one! Khan produced rounds of 74-74 as well with a total of five birdies throughout the weekend as he took home fourth place honors. In fifth was Colin Schmiegel of Danville at 5-over par 149, this is Colin's first top-five finish on the Junior Tour this season as he carded a total of six birdies.
In the Girls division, Olivia Lee clinches her first tournament win of the 2026-2027 JTNC season after two recent worthy finishes of 2nd and 4th place, coming during Fall Series I and Fall Series III respectively. Olivia's first round was off to a great start where she finished at 3-under par 69 and was the clubhouse leader after round one for the Girls division. Round two featured more consistency from the Fairfield talent as she wrapped up her championship weekend with an even-par 72 to win by one shot over Tiffany Chang with a total score of 3-under 141. Olivia carded ten birdies throughout the 36-hole championship, a tournament high for both the Girls and Boys divisions, helping further establish her presence on the Junior Tour this season. Olivia currently ranks 2nd on the Girls JTNC Player of the Year standings with 550 points, 50 points shy of the top-ranked spot.
Runner-up went to Tiffany Chang of San Jose at 2-under par 142. Tiffany had rounds of 73-69 while turning in an impressive eight birdies for tournament. This marks Tiffany's first medal finish on the Junior Tour this season. Third place needed a card-off between Taylor Moya and Ella Rawson after the pair were level at 2-over 144, with both turning inn identical rounds of 74-72. In the end it was Moya who took home the third place medal, making it her best finish on the Junior Tour this season! Fourth place went to Ella Rawson of Reno, Nevada, who continues to make her name known on the Junior Tour as she is now ranked 3rd on the Girls JTNC Player of the Year standings at 394 points. Fifth place was awarded to Natkrita Thongrattana of Palo Alto at 3-over par 147, Natkrita had rounds of 76-71 with three birdies in total.
