Junior Tour of Northern California Crowns Winners During Fall Series VII Championship at Windsor Golf Club

PEBBLE BEACH, Calif. (September 30th, 2025) – The 2025-2026 Junior Tour of Northern California (JTNC) hosted its seventh event of the season and crowned champions during the Fall Series VII Championship held at Windsor Golf Club in Windsor.

Adam Henry and Cathy Zhang both win their respective flights, with the course playing to a par-72 - 6,443 yards for the Boys and 6,017 yards for the Girls.

In the Boy’s Championship flight, Adam Henry wins his first tournament of the 2025-2026 JTNC season, including a playoff finish as the local Windsor talent triumphed over Jackson Ortiz. Adam carded identical rounds of 72-72 while totaling nine birdies over the 36-hole event, the most crucial birdie coming on the third to final hole to force the playoff. versus Ortiz. Adam's highlight of the weekend had to be his opening eleven holes of the competition where he was 4-under par, making birdies on holes 4, 5, 9, and 10. Now sitting at T-7 on the JTNC Boys Player of the Year Standings, Adam Henry looks to build on this momentum as we head into the middle of the season.

Runner-up subsequently went to Jackson Ortiz of Santa Rosa who fell shy in the playoff versus Henry. Jackson had rounds of 72-72 including seven birdies to make it his second top-five finish of the 2025-2026 JTNC season. Third place went to another local talent out of Petaluma, Chase Mandel, who turned in rounds of 70-77 finishing at 3-over 147. Fourth place was taken by Andy Yuan at 5-over par 149, Andy made a second round charge by carding a 1-under 71. 

2025 Fall VII Cathy Zhang IG Post

In the Girls’ Championship flight, Cathy Zhang of San Ramon wins by two shots over Medha Kotti and Victoria Cui. Cathy opened up with a stellar 1-under 71 featuring four birdies, ending the day tied with co-leader Victoria Cui. Round two is where Cathy was able to separate herself from the Girls field by carding a 2-over 74 which included two more birdies. Cathy makes it two wins on the Junior Tour this season for a total of four top-five finishes, aiming to add more medals to her already impressive collection. Currently sitting at 1st on the JTNC Girls Player of the Year Standings, Cathy has a 125 point lead over the next closest ranked girl as she looks to build on her dominating start to the season.

Second place needed a card-off between Medha Kotti and Victoria Cui in deciding the runners-up medal after the duo were tied at 3-over par 147. Medha ended up taking the second place medal after her second round 72 was enough to see out Victoria's final round of 76. Medha carded a total of five bridies and is now ranked 4th on the JTNC Girls Player of the Year Standings. Victoria Cui took 3rd place with rounds of 71-76 featuring eight birdies in total! Missing out on a medal spot was Samantha Chiou at 4-over par 148, Samantha turned in rounds of 75-73.
