Junior Tour of Northern California Crowns Winners During Holiday Series I Championship at Del Monte Golf Course
PEBBLE BEACH, Calif. (November 26th, 2025) – The 2025-2026 Junior Tour of Northern California (JTNC) hosted its 11th event of the season and crowned champions during the Holiday Series I Championship at Del Monte Golf Course in Monterey.
Nakul Shrivastava and Lucinda Wu both win their respective flights, with the course playing to a par-72 for both flights - Boys at 6,342 yards and Girls at 6,029 yards.

In the Boy’s Championship flight, Nakul Shrivastava wins his second tournament in a row after rounds of 68-69 to win by three shots. Nakul produced two dominating rounds as he notched a total of thirteen birdies throughout the 36-hole championship. Round two saw Nakul get off to a quick start as the San Ramon native was 4-under through the first 15 holes, this allowed him to build a substantial lead over his competitors as the final groups headed into the closing 9-holes. Victory here marks Nakul's second win of the JTNC season, Nakul now ranks 2nd on the JTNC Boys Player of the Year Standings.
Runner-up went to Arno Wehle of San Jose, Arno carded rounds of 72-68 finishing at 4-under par 140. Wehle's key strength during the competition was consistency, especially throughout round two as he nearly went bogey-free with a total of three birdies, one eagle, and thirteen pars. Third place went to a recent JTNC champion in Calvin Etcheverry at 1-under par 143, Calvin had rounds of 69-74 including a total of seven birdies. Fourth place was awarded to Zachary Hawkins who finished at 1-over par 145 with rounds of 75-70.

In the Girls’ Championship flight, Lucinda Wu wins her second tournament of the 2025-2026 JTNC season via a playoff versus Isabella Sun after the pair were tied at 2-over par 146. Lucinda made a back-nine push during the final day to force the playoff versus Sun, carding a birdie on the penultimate 17th hole. Lucinda took that momentum into the playoff as her and Sun prepared to play the 10th hole that would decide the Holiday Series I Girls winner. Lucinda left no room for error with a successful tee shot and an approach shot that landed within tap in distance, birdie during the playoff was icing on the cake for Lucinda's victory! Lucinda currently ranks 4th on JTNC Girls Player of the Year Standings with a total of 750 points.
Runner-up subsequently went to Isabella Sun of Carmel, Isabella fired off rounds of 70-76 while picking up nine birdies in total over the 36-hole championship. Third place was decided by a card-off after Hayley Fong and Cathy Zhang were level at 7-over par 151, Hayley claimed the bronze medal as she had the lower second round of 71 compared to Cathy's second round 78. Cathy Zhan took fourth place with rounds of 73-78, Cathy still remains 1st on the JTNC Girls Player of the Year Standings.
