Junior Tour of Northern California Crowns Winners During Spring Series II Championship at Riverside GC of Fresno
PEBBLE BEACH, Calif. (March 25th, 2026) – The 2025-2026 Junior Tour of Northern California (JTNC) hosted its 15th event of the season and second in the 2026 calendar year, crowning champions during the Spring Series II Championship at Riverside Golf Course of Fresno.
Cru Sillivan and Erin Le Nguyen both win their respective divisions, with the course playing to a par-72 with the Boys at 6,674 yards and Girls at 6,195 yards.
In the Boy’s Championship flight, Cru Sullivan makes it back to back wins on the Junior Tour turning in rounds of 67-72 to finish with a dominating 5-under par 139. Cru put on an outstanding display of talent during round one where he carded a bogey-free 5-under 67, picking up five birdies along the way with a front nine 33 and a back nine 34. Round two for Sullivan showed glimpses of his first day dominance, Cru would go on to card two bridies on Sunday and an eagle on the par-five 14th hole which saw him coast to a first place finish. Cru also added to his 2025-2026 JTNC Boys Player of the Year point totals with a victory at Spring Series II, taking him up to 3rd in the overall standings!
Runner-up at 1-under par 143 with rounds of 70-73 went to Luke Gisler of Gunter, Texas. Gisler is a new addition to the Junior Tour of Northern California this year as he looks to build on a great performance after his first tournament of the 2025-2026 JTNC season. Gisler carded a total of four birdies including a bogey-free first round 70. Third place went to a familiar face on the JTNC in Jaxen Castillo, Jaxen was awarded a podium spot after a card-off was needed as he and Priyank Sharma-Tiwari were tied at 1-over par 145. Jaxen's finishing nine-holes of 34 was the difference versus Priyank's finishing 38.
In the Girls’ Championship flight, Erin Le Nguyen wins her first tournament of the 2025-2026 JTNC season by two shots with a total score of 1-over 145. Erin's second round surge was the difference maker as she improved on her first round total by five strokes, carding a 75 on Saturday followed up by a 2-under 70 on Sunday! A near perfect final round saw Erin climb up the Girls leaderboard as the day progressed, turning in a total of three birdies, fourteen pars, and just one bogey as she became the eventual champion. Victory here at Spring Series II takes her up to 7th on the 2025-2026 Girls JTNC Player of the Year standings with a total of 483 points, Erin looks to build this momentum as we head into the second half of the season.
Runner-up went to Madi Tjoe of of Danville who came in at 3-over par 148, one shot better than third place Lexi Lowe. Madi had rounds of 69-78 with a total of five birdies over the weekend, with her highlight being the 3-under 69 she carded during Saturday's first round. Third place needed a card-off between Lexi Lowe and Emma Hernandez after the pair were tied at 4-ovre par 148, eventually it was Lexi who would be awarded the third place medal as her final round 2-under 70 was enough to see out Hernandez's even-par 72. Lexi carded rounds of 78-70 to take third place, while Emma carded rounds of 76-72 to take fourth place.
