Junior Tour of Northern California Crowns Winners During Spring Series V Championship at Haggin Oaks Golf Complex - Mackenzie Course
PEBBLE BEACH, Calif. (April 27th, 2026) – The 2025-2026 Junior Tour of Northern California (JTNC) hosted its 18th event of the season and fifth in the 2026 calendar year, crowning champions during the Spring Series V Championship at Haggin Oaks Golf Complex's Alister Mackenzie Course in Sacramento.
Ella Rawson and Jason Lee win their respective divisions with the the course playing to a par-72 for both divisions, with the Girls at 6,141 yards and the Boys at 6,962 yards.

In the Boy’s Championship flight, Jason Lee wins by two shots over the Boys field while claiming his first winners medal of the 2025-2026 JTNC season. Jason was off to a quick start during round one where he opened up with a front-nine 3-under 33, carding birdies on three of the first nine holes as he set the tone early on for a championship weekend. Round one turned out to be stellar for the Fremont talent, going on to shoot a 6-under 66 with a total of seven birdies and just one bogey. Round two told a similar story as Jason went 35-35 for a 2-under 70 and a total of four birdies. Jason's clutch birdies down the stretch were the difference that propelled him up the leaderboard, making bridies on holes fifteen and eighteen were the clutch moments that earned him 1st place at Spring Series V. Jason currently ranks 17th on the JTNC Boys Player of the Year standings with a season point total of 332.
Runner-up at 6-under 138 was Sudhaamsuram Parvataneni who needed a successful card-off to beat out Nakul Shrivastava for the silver medal. Sudhaamsuram had rounds of 68-70 with a total of nine birdies making this tournament his fourth top-ten finish for the 2025-2026 season. Nakul Shrivastava took third place honors with rounds of 68-70, Nakul had nine birdies and one eagle which came on the par-5 4th hole during play of the round two. Fourth place went to Grant Curtiss of Menlo Park at 5-under 139, earning his first top-five finish of the season!

In the Girls’ Championship flight, Ella Rawson of Reno, Nevada wins her first tournament of the 2025-2026 JTNC season with successive rounds of under par golf. Ella carded a 2-under 70 during round one and a 1-under 71 during play of the second and final round to win the Girls division by three shots over Diya Kumar. Ella's finishing holes of round one and opening holes of round two were immaculate and likely her best golf of the season so far, in a stretch of nine holes she carded six birdies and one eagle! A dominating weekend from the Reno talent produced a stat sheet that any Girls player in the field would envy, this included ten bridies and one eagle over 36-holes. Victory here at Spring Series V helps Rawson climb the ranks as she is now 8th on the JTNC Player of the Year standings with a total of 650 points, performances like this could see her make a push for the top three spots on the Player of the Year list.
Runner-up went to Diya Kumar at even-par 144, Diya had rounds of 73-71 with eight bridies in total while finishing ahead of Sakura Watanabe by one shot. Diya's success here at Spring Series V makes it her fifth top-five finish of the season. Third place went to Sakura Watanabe of Roseville at 1-over 145, Sakura produced rounds of 69-76 and was the clubhouse leader after round one. Sakura's weekend included four birdies and five bogeys, with four of the bogeys unfortunately coming during play of round two and she watched her name drop down the leaderboard. A highlight would be this is her second top-ten finish of the season for 2025-2026.
