Junior Tour of Northern California Crowns Winners During Spring Series VII Championship at Coyote Creek's Valley Course
PEBBLE BEACH, Calif. (May 11th, 2026) – The 2025-2026 Junior Tour of Northern California (JTNC) hosted its 20th event of the season and seventh in the 2026 calendar year, crowning champions during the Spring Series VII Championship at Coyote Creek's Valley Course in Morgan Hill.
Hayley Fong and Dylan Hirst win their respective divisions with the the course playing to a par-72 for both, with the Girls at 6,116 yards and the Boys at 6,795 yards.
In the Boy’s Championship flight, Dylan Hirst wins by two shots over the Boys field in tight race for the first place medal. Dylan caught a hot streak at the perfect time in securing his winners medal, making birdie on four of his final six holes to beat out runner-up Nakul Shrivastava who was already in the clubhouse at 10-under par. After placing in the top-ten on four separate occasions this season, Dylan wins his first tournament of the 2025-2026 season. Dylan went bogey free during round two as he carded a 7-under 65, complementing his first round of 5-under 67. He also carded the most birdies in the Boys field with a total of thirteen throughout the 36-hole championship. Victory here at Spring Series VII makes it takes him up to 9th on the JTNC Boys Player of the Year standings with 494 points, just 106 points shy of the top-five leaders.
Second place went to Nakul Shrivastava of San Ramon, Nakul had rounds of 70-64 finishing at 10-under par for a total of 134. Nakul's dominant second round helped him secure the second place medal and also allowed him to retain his 1st place ranking on the JTNC Boys Player of the Year standings. Third place went to Calvin Etcheverry of Saratoga at 8-under par 136, Calvin produced rounds of 67-69 that included ten bridies and an eagle on the par-5 18th hole during play of the final round. Fourth place was awarded at 7-under par 137 to Estuardo Duque of Oakdale, Estuardo went 72-65 for a total of 137.
In the Girls’ Championship flight, Hayley Fong wins her first Junior Tour event of the season on the final two holes of the championship. Hayley produced back-to-back birdies on the 35th and 36th holes to secure her champions medal and earn a one shot victory over runner-up Ashley Gettleman. Hayley had a lights out weekend of golf as she displayed both skill and composure while carding identical rounds of 4-under 68! Hayley made eleven birdies over the weekend while making Spring Series VII her third medal finish for the 2025-2026 season, this is also her sixth top-ten finish on the Junior Tour this season. She now currently ranks 7th on the JTNC Girls Player of the Year standings and is only 127 points back of being in the top three ranked Girls.
Runner-up went to Ashley Gettleman of Scotts Valley, Ashley had rounds of 71-66 to finish at 7-under 137. Ashley made and strong push during round two as she charged up the leaderboard in an effort to force a playoff, ultimately falling short due to Fong's finishing birdies. Ashley carded nine birdies and one eagle on the par-five 2nd hole during play of round two. Third place went to Stevie Umali of San Francisco at 6-under par 138, Stevie carded nine birdies in total with rounds of 71-67 making it her second podium finish for the season. Fourth place was awarded to Allison Chan at 4-under par 140, this is Allison's highest finish on the Junior Tour this season as she carded rounds of 71-69 with co-tournament high eleven birdies.
