Junior Tour of Northern California Crowns Winners During Summer Series I Championship at The Reserve at Spanos Park

PEBBLE BEACH, Calif. (June 17th, 2026) – The 2025-2026 Junior Tour of Northern California (JTNC) hosted its 22nd event of the season and ninth in the 2026 calendar year, crowning champions during the Summer Series I Championship at The Reserve at Spanos Park in Stockton.

Jacob Burnett and Beverley Cui win their respective divisions with the the course playing to a par-72 for both, with the Girls at 6,148 yards and the Boys at 6,708 yards.

In the Boy’s Championship flight, Jacob Burnett wins his second tournament of the 2025-2026 season by four shots after rounds of 71-67 to finish at 138. Jacob's finally tally of 6-under par throughout the 36-hole championship included some outstanding golf and unparalleled consistency as he racked up 10 birdies in total, with four of those being on the final five holes of the competition. A strong showing in round two was the difference for the Roseville talent as he looks to build on this performance heading into the final tournaments of the JTNC season, Jacob is currently ranked 7th on the JTNC Boys Player of the Year standings with 600 total points. 

Second and third place all ended in a three way card-off between the following players; Ethan Cheng, Estuardo Duque, and Christopher Chang as the trio were level at 2-under par 142. All players carded identical rounds of 71-71 over the two days and a further deep dive into their scorecards were needed to separate them. Ultimately, it was Christopher Chang who took second place and Estuardo Duque who took third place. Chang had five birdies throughout the weekend making Summer Series I his third top-ten finish this season, Duque turned in eight birdies on his cards while making this event his third top-five finishing on the JTNC in 2025-2026. 

In the Girls’ Championship flight, Beverley Cui wins her first tournament of the 2025-2026 JTNC season by three shots over the Girls field. Cui turned in rounds of 72-68 to finish at 4-under par 140 for the two day championship. Producing near perfect rounds, Cui was able to put together a solid two days of scorecards as she amassed twenty-five pars, six birdies, and one eagle which came on the par-5 sixth hole during round one. Victory here at Summer Series I makes it Cui's second top-ten finish of the season, taking her to T-19 on the JTNC Girls Player of the Year standings with a total of 420 points. 

Runner-up needed a card-off between Emma Wang and Christina Choe as the pair were tied at 1-under par 143 after two rounds. Ultimately it was Emma Wang who carded the lower score during the second round where she shot a 3-under 69 to secure her silver medal. A podium spot here for Emma makes it her sixth top-five finish for the 2025-2026 season, taking her up to 5th on the JTNC Girls Player of the Year Standings. Third place was subsequently awarded to Christina Choe who turned in rounds of 73-70 with a total of ten bridies, making this her fourth top-five finish for the season.
