PEBBLE BEACH, Calif. (June 20, 2025) – The 2024-2025 Junior Tour of Northern California (JTNC) crowned champions during the Summer Series II Championship at Haggin Oaks Golf Complex's Alister Mackenzie Course.

Erin Lee and Liam Eyer both win their respective flights during the Summer Series II Championship, in addition they also punched their ticket to the Junior PGA Championship which will be held later this summer.

In the Boy’s Championship flight, Liam Eyer wins his first tournament on the Junior Tour for the 2024-2025 season. Eyer posted back-to-back rounds of under par golf as he carded a 64 during day one and 70 on day two of the summer series championship. Throughout the two day tournament Eyer managed to produce some outstanding golf, most notably were his opening six holes of the tournament where he made four birdies and an eagle! Leaving him at the top of the leaderboard at 6-under par, Liam carried this momentum into round two with fourteen pars, three birdies, and just one bogey to come in at 2-under par for the day. Liam ended the tournament with a total of ten birdies and one eagle, with the most important birdie coming during the third playoff hole for 1st place versus Jayden Jew as the pair were tied at 10-under par for the tournament. The cherry on top for Eyer's victory at Summer Series II is an exemption into the 49th Boys & Girls Junior PGA Championship to be held at Brick Boilermaker Golf Complex in West Lafayette, Indiana from July 29th to August 1st.

Runner-up was awarded to Jayden Jew after an unlucky three-hole playoff versus Eyer,  Jayden finished at 10-under par after he carded rounds of 68-66, making a total of twelve birdies with him most important one coming on the final hole of regulation to force the previously mentioned playoff. Third place went to Richard Ding of Pleasanton at 9-under par 135, Ding had rounds of 69-66 making this his seventh podium finish of the year as he now sits as the top ranked Boys Junior Tour player for the 2024-2025 season! Fourth place subsequently went to Braden Cales of Roseville as the local talent carded rounds of 67-69 finishing at 136.

In the Girls’ Championship flight, Erin Lee wins by a total of four shots over runner-up Caroline Gao as she carded rounds of 67-69 to finish at 136. Erin's performance at Summer Series II makes it her first win on the Junior Tour this season alongside seven other top-ten finishes! Erin carded a total of eleven birdies, her highlight of the weekend were the three successive bridies she picked up during round two while playing holes three, four, and five which helped her card an impressive front-nine 33. Victory here has bumped Erin up the JTNC Girls Player of the Year standings as she now sits in 11th place, only 27 points back of being ranked in the top-ten. The same goes for Erin with victory at Summer Series II as she will also earn an exemption into the 49th Boys & Girls Junior PGA Championship to be held at Brick Boilermaker Golf Complex in West Lafayette, Indiana from July 29th to August 1st.

Second place was awarded to Grace Gao of Milpitas after rounds of 69-71 to finish at 4-under par 140. Caroline carded a total of nine birdies as her back-nine on the final day let her down as she also picked up three bogey's all but sealing the championship for Erin Lee. This is Caroline's highest finish and first medal for the 2024-2025 JTNC season.
