A steady performance by Loden Chen, with rounds of 71-73, earns him his first winners medal on the Junior Tour this season. The final Summer Series championship was not short of any drama as Chen needed a playoff versus Eric Cheung of Millbrae to come out victorious. Chen's consistent play on the final nine holes kept him in the hunt as runner-up Cheung needed several birdies to force a sudden-death playoff, ultimately it was Chen who prevailed to be crowned champion of the Boys division. Loden Chen picked up a total of seven birdies throughout the 36-hole event, the 2028 grad looks to build on this performance as we head into the new season.

In the Girls’ Championship, Madalynn Lee wins as she solidifies her 2nd place ranking on the JTNC Girls' Player of the Year Standings. In Saturday’s opener Madalynn shot an even-par 72 that included two birdies, and on day two she carded an even-par 72 tallying up a total of two birdies, fourteen pars, and only two bogeys. Madalynn's final nine holes were the difference in deciding this championship as her and Anita Lumpongpoung were neck and neck heading into the final stretch of the championship. It was Madalynn's calm nerves and consistent scoring which proved the difference as she carded a back nine 36 versus Anita's lackluster 41.
