Junior Tour of Northern California Crowns Winners During Holiday Series II at Hunter Ranch Golf Course

PEBBLE BEACH, Calif. (December 9th, 2025) – The 2025-2026 Junior Tour of Northern California (JTNC) hosted its twelfth event of the season and crowned champions during the Holiday Series II Championship at Hunter Ranch Golf Course in Paso Robles.

Nakul Shrivastava and Melody Chen both win their respective flights, with the course playing to a par-72 at Hunter Ranch. The Boys division played to 6,646 yards while the Girls played to 5,988 yards. 

2025 Holiday II Boys Winners

In the Boy’s Championship flight, Nakul Shrivastava makes in three wins in a row on the Junior Tour with a solid 1-under 143 to win by one shot. Shrivastava opened up the weekend carding a near perfect 4-under 68 that included five birdies and just one bogey, however that momentum fell off heading into the second round. Round two brought struggles for Nakul where he carded a 3-over 75, but thanks to his generous lead from round one he was able to still see out runner-up Jason Wang and Griffin Didier who took third place. Nakul's victory at Holiday Series II included a total of six birdies as he looks to close the gap at the top of the JTNC Boys Player of the Year Standings, 30 points separates him and Jacob Watney who is the current JTNC Boys points leader. 

Runner-up was awarded to Jason Wang of Cupertino, Jason made a second day push to close the gap on Shrivastava as he turned in a 2-under 70. Jason's weekend included a total of seven bridies as he claimed his first medal of the 2025-2026 JTNC season. Griffin Didier of Carbondale, Colorado took third place at 4-over par 148 as the Colorado native also earns his first medal of the 2025-2026 JTNC season with rounds of 77-71. Fourth place went to Ethan Mouanoutoua of Clovis at 5-over par 149, Ethan turned in rounds of 75-74 with a total of six birdies. 

2025 Holiday II Girls Winner IG

In the Girls’ Championship flight, Melody Chen wins her first JTNC tournament of the 2025-2026 season with rounds of 73-80 to finish at 153. Melody started off the weekend with a dominating performance during round one where she ended the day with six shot lead over runner-up Taylor Moya, Melody carded three birdies with a front nine 37 followed up by a back nine 36. Melody would go on to win the tournament by two shots over the next closest competitor, carding five bridies in total while moving up to T14 on the JTNC Girls Player of the Year Standings. 

Runner-up was awarded to Taylor Moya at 11-over par 155, Moya had rounds of 79-76 that included five birdies making this her first top-three finish on the Junior Tour this season. Third place went to Christina Choe of Galt at 13-over par 157, Christina turned in rounds of 82-75. Fourth place ended in a three-way tie between Quinn Johnson, Allison Bailey, and Sofia Rodriguez Pierson at 165.
