Junior Tour of Northern California Crowns Winners During Spring Series VI Championship at Empire Ranch Golf Club
PEBBLE BEACH, Calif. (April 30th, 2026) – The 2025-2026 Junior Tour of Northern California (JTNC) hosted its 19th event of the season and sixth in the 2026 calendar year, crowning champions during the Spring Series VI Championship at Empire Ranch Golf Club in Folsom.
Jacob Burnett and Annie Lu win their respective divisions with the the course playing to a par-71 for both, with the Girls at 5,957 yards and the Boys at 6,527 yards.

In the Boy’s Championship flight, Jacob Burnett wins by five shots over the Boys field to secure his first winners medal for the 2025-2026 JTNC season. During round one Jacob made a statement with seven birdies in total to shoot a 4-under 67, with an impressive four con bridies coming on holes fourteen through seventeen. Round two on Sunday told a similar story as Jacob carded another lights out 3-under 68 to further increase his lead over the Boys field, this final round included seven birdies. In total Jacob carded a tournament high fourteen birdies throughout the 36-hole event, a first place finish here at Spring Series VI pushes him up the JTNC Plyer of the Year standings to 19th for the 2025-2026 season.
Second place needed a card-off to decide who would take home the runner-up medal as Armaan Khan and Kenneth Yang were level at 2-under par 140. Ultimately it was Khan who took the silver medal as his second round of 4-under 67 was enough to see out Yang's 2-under 69. Khan carded rounds of 73-67 with a total of eight birdies and one eagle, Yang turned in rounds of 71-69 and produced seven bridies throughout the weekend. Armaan's weekend performance come with a highlight as he is now ranked 3rd on the JTNC Boys Player of the Year standings. Kenneth Yang makes it his first top-three finish of the 2025-2026 JTNC season.

In the Girls’ Championship flight, Annie Lu wraps up her weekend with a winners medal making this her third top-ten finish on the Junior Tour this season! Annie wins the Girls division by one shot over Serene Kim, carding rounds of 73-74 to finish at 5-over 147. With tough weather conditions throughout the two day event it was imperative to save par and minimize any mistakes, and Annie did just that. Throughout the 36-holes Annie was able to card twenty-six pars and two birdies, the two birdies were the difference maker as the tournament came down to the wire. Annie's best stretch of golf had to be her final twelve holes during the fist round and she went 1-under during that stretch. Victory here at Spring Series VI takes her up to 14th on the JTNC Girls Player of the Year standings and only 103 points outside of the top ten spots.
Runner-up went to Serene Kim of Granite Bay at 6-over par 148, Serene turned in identical rounds of 74-74 that included five bridies to solidify her first podium finish of the season! Taking home third place in the Girls division was Caroline Gao of Milpitas who shot 7-over 149 over the two rounds. Gao had two birdies to hang her hat on while helping bump herself up the JTNC Girls rankings to 26th. Fourth place went to Beverley Cui at 9-over 151, Beverley had rounds of 74-77.
